All pupils who take part in the Medal Test Examinations may perform at the Medal Presentation. This takes the form of a Dance Display and pupils can invite friends and relatives to the Medal Presentation to watch them perform the dances and grades which they learnt for their Examination(s).

In addition, I am always pleased to provide Dance Displays for charity events/open days/school fetes etc. All pupils are given the chance to perform in these displays (subject to reaching the necessary standard).

Pupils who attend Stage Dancing classes may (subject to age and other restrictions) perform as dancers in Spennymoor Operatic Society’s Pantomimes and Productions which I choreograph.

I also receive requests from other Musical Theatre Companies/Production Companies needing dancers for their Shows and Events.

Recent performances include “Mother Goose”, “Calamity Jane” and “Aladdin” for Spennymoor Amateur Operatic Society (also choreographed by Dianne) and The Northern Counties Dance Teachers Association Showcase at the Gala Theatre, Durham, which raised £4,000 for Metro Radio/Magic FM’s charity Just for Kids.

On Easter Saturday, 7th April 2007, pupils performed at “The Magic of Variety” at The Gala Theatre, Durham for The Magic Circle.

On Sunday 24 June I provided a dance display at St Patricks RC School, Langley Moor.

Pupils have successfully auditioned for the childrens chorus for the pantomime "Cinderella" to be held at Spennymoor Town Hall in January 2008 with some also being successful in the auditions for orphans in the musical "Annie" which is running in April 2008.

The Medal Presentation is being held on Sunday 29 June 2008 from exams which were held on 11 May where all pupils passed their exams with either Highly Commended, Pass with Honours or Pass with Distinction.  Tickets available from Dianne - all proceeds to Help For Heroes Registered Charity.
